FAQ

How can I tell if it's a deodorant or an antiperspirant?

By law, the front label must clearly state if the product is a "deodorant" or an "antiperspirant." Also, antiperspirants typically list some form of "aluminum" in the ingredients on the back label.

At what age can kids start using deodorant?

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), children can start using deodorant around age 7 or 8, which is when sweat glands begin developing and body odor may appear.

My child is 5 years old and has body odor. What should I do?

If your child is under 7 and already has noticeable body odor, we recommend consulting a pediatric endocrinologist to rule out hormonal or other underlying issues, as this is not typical at that age.

Should my child use deodorant with or without baking soda?

If your child has sensitive skin or has experienced irritation from deodorants with baking soda, we recommend using DIADIE KIDS roll-on — a baking soda-free natural deodorant for kids.
